CEO Overview

Wes Walker is Veregy’s CEO, strategically leading the organization to new cultural, growth, and productivity horizons. Veregy is an award-winning NAESCO-Accredited decarbonization company focusing on accelerating and simplifying the Energy Transition. Under his leadership, the Veregy Team provides turnkey engineering and construction services designed to reduce our clients’ energy and operating costs through the implementation of energy efficiency and infrastructure upgrades, smart building technology, fleet EV infrastructure, clean energy generation, and sustainability.

Through Wes’s guidance and industry expertise, Veregy is poised to set unprecedented records in the Energy Services and Energy Provider industries, with lofty goals over the next three years to hit close to a billion in annual revenue.

For over a decade prior to joining Veregy, he served executive roles at Siemens, from engineering to sales to operations, as the Head of National Energy & Performance and Services headquartered in Chicago. The Siemens sales force and engineers fully 2 of 3 expanded into the municipal, higher education, K-12 schools, health care, and C&I markets while maintaining industry-leading year-over-year growth.

Wes holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus in finance from Illinois State University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Purdue University. He is also a Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois, a U.S Green Building Council LEED AP credentialed professional, an Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) Certified Energy Manager, and AEE Certified Green Building Engineer.

From a board seat perspective, he is the Board President of the National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO.org), bringing advocacy to energy reduction in Washington, he serves on the board of the Alliance to Save Energy (ase.org) and serves as the board President of Veregy, LLC, combined with being the key liaison to Veregy’s Private Equity partners Court Square (https://www.courtsquare.com/).

He continues to influence the global energy transition away from fossil fuels, ultimately bettering our communities and aiding in the reversal of climate change. His influence is being recognized nationally with his clean-energy insights and the momentum Veregy continues to build year after year. In his short tenure with Veregy, his advocacy for national decarbonization has brought millions in CO2 reduction to building infrastructures throughout the United States.
